THE MAGIC CUBE 14X14X14
Back in 2019 we decided to seriously develop the idea of a modular speaker system that would give the consumer the ability to construct their own loudspeaker. We went looking for the perfect size module and 14x14x14 was the winner. Out of all the different sizes we tried, this size had the best sound.
EACH ONE IS HANDMADE
Each module is handmade from 3/4 inch medium density fiberboard and lined inside with 2 inch acoustical foam. We strived to make the most rigid and acoustically dead module we could, that way you only hear the drivers making music.
EASY ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY
That’s right, the speaker is designed so that you can disassemble it and try different modules. Just undo the 4-1/4 20 bolts that hold the two modules together. The modular design gives you an inch and a half of internal bracing with the two modules are connected, which is three times as thick as ordinary speaker manufacturers offer.
THE IDEAS, AND OVERALL SPEAKER HEIGHT, GREW QUICKLY
So we developed a half module for mid range and tweeter drivers. These drivers are much less dependent on cabinet size, and thus the half module was born at just 14x14x7 inches.
PAINT / FINISH
All Blueprint speakers feature an automotive quality finish by PPG. Currently, we offer six basic colors as well as custom vith a flat finish, but if you prefer high gloss, we can certainly accommodate you for a nominal fee.
